Blood Pressure

LEARN MORE

Blood pressure is the force of circulating blood pushing against the walls of your arteries. When that pressure is higher than normal, you have high blood pressure (HBP), which puts you at risk for a number of health issues including heart attack, heart failure and stroke.

These modules will help you understand the anatomy of both your heart and your arteries and how they generate blood pressure. You will also learn what causes HBP and how your blood pressure is measured with a blood pressure test.
